SJR Architects were engaged by Woodford Dental Services in late 2006 to procure a building to replace their current rented premises. With a tight 12 month timescale the brief was fulfilled when Woodford moved into their new building on Kirkleatham Business Park in November 2007. The building accommodates 3 studios for the production of porcelain & gold dental prosthetics together with plaster moulds, and allows for future expansion to two sides as the business expands, within a traditionally constructed rectangular box with large roof overhangs to articulate the elevations and control solar gain.
