SJR Architects gained planning approval in early 2007 to expand this already successful restaurant into the adjoining property, a former bathroom studio, allowing an extended bar/waiting area, additional covers and the provision of a full disabled access to the first floor function rooms and conservatory. The newly refurbished and refitted premises remained trading for the full duration of the works, even during the breaking through process, to link the two properties and were fully operational in time for the crucial Christmas trading period in late 2007.
